GENERAL INFORMATION: The Board of Directors consists of 13 Officers and Directors At Large. They are elected by the membership. The Board of Directors' purpose is to manage and guide the Chapter and its activities and to plan for the future. In addition to the Officers and Directors, the Chapter's Membership Chairman, an appointed position, is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors. All members of the Board of Directors serve without remuneration.

Board meetings of the Washington, D.C. Chapter NRHS are usually held the Monday before the regularly scheduled membership meeting at a place and time determined by the Board of Directors. Members and usually visitors are welcome to attend the board meetings, but please notify the President in advance so that arrangements for adequate seating space can be made. Please notify the President in advance if you have business for the board meeting. Typically, the meetings start at 7:30 PM.
