You will help us meet
the goals and objectives of our mission by making a tax-deductible
donation to the Washington, D.C. Chapter NRHS. Gifts of
any size can help us continue existing programs or start new
ones. You may designate your gift for a specific project
or let the Chapter use it where it is most needed. In addition
to monetary donations, the Chapter also frequently accepts donations
of physical property such as real-estate, rail-equipment, railroadiana,
model train collections, books, etc. The Chapter can also
be named as a beneficiary in your will.
Besides ongoing restoration projects on the DOVER
HARBOR and our REA
Baggage Cars and our educational programs such as trips
and RAILCAMP , we are currently searching
for permanent home in the Washington Metropolitan Area for the
Chapter and its rail equipment in. This need will play a vital
role in determining our future.
The Washington, D. C. Chapter NRHS is a charitable organization
recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
Donations to the Washington, D.C. Chapter NRHS are tax-deductible
to the maximum extent allowed by the Internal Revenue Code.
The Chapter is also a registered non-profit organization
in the states of Maryland and Virginia.
