Franklin Inn & Dover Harbor operating together on PRR Rails

For your enjoyment, a photo of the Franklin Inn and the Dover Harbor homeward bound after DCNRHS' weekend trip to NYC - the New Yorker (i.e. Southbound bringing up the markers behind Amtrak No. 97). This is the first time the two cars operated together, and the first time that Franklin Inn has returned to the heritage rails of the Pennsylvania Railroad's (PRR) Washington - New York Mainline (but not the first time on PRR rails since returned to DCNRHS ownership). Both cars were originally built for the PRR. The Dover Harbor in 1923 and the Franklin Inn in 1949.
Photo taken by Mary Ries at dusk this evening at Halethorpe, MD.
