Throughout 2019, the Washington, D.C., Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society (DCNRHS), is sponsoring monthly programs featuring topics in transportation history by expert speakers. These programs are free and open to the public. For more information see our programs page.

Our 2019 programs will be presented at The Alexandria History Museum at the Lyceum, located in Old Town Alexandria at 201 S. Washington Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314, a new venue for us.

The Lyceum features free parking in their adjacent lot and there is also metered street parking available. The Lyceum is also accessible via the City of Alexandria's free King Street Trolley, which transports passengers from the King Street Metrorail Station (across the tracks from Amtrak/VRE). The free trolley operates seven days a week from 11:30 am to 10 pm.
