Join us for a two-day trip to two of West Virginia's premier historic rail venues plus a guided tour of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO). We will meet our chartered motor coach 7:00 AM Saturday at the Fairfax County Government Center parking lot. Lunch (included) will be at the NRAO Cafe at Green Bank. After lunch we will have time to explore the Green Bank Science Center and then be met by our tour guide who will board our bus and give us a detailed tour of the NRAO site and operation.

The day begins with an early morning departure from Washington 's Union Station on Amtrak 's Northeast Corridor Regional service for a quick ride to Philadelphia. At Philadelphia, we 'll change to New Jersey Transit 's Atlantic City service train, traveling across New Jersey on the route of Pennsylvania Railroad trains which included the Sea Clipper, Nelly Bly and Flying Spray.
